That None Shall Perish!
Dear Friends:
A major tenet of our missiology as believers is found in II Peter 3:9, “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance” (NIV). Our Savior, Jesus Christ, gave His life for the salvation of everyone. Every person.
As I reviewed Network211’s impact on individuals on a global scale in 2025, I was thrilled to see how the Lord used this ministry to reach people in the most difficult situations. I visited the Open Door’s website and found their list of “Nations Where Christians Face the Most Extreme Persecution” and compared it to our statistics in these countries in 2025. What I learned was that in the Top Fifty nations, Network211 had the following impact:
- 1,904,632 Gospel Presentations
- 372,333 Evangelism Responses
- 24,204 Discipleship Connections
We praise the Lord! Now, we all love the vitally important ministry of missionaries in the nations of the world. These “boots on the ground” are the in-person representations of Christ to lost individuals around the world. At the same time, we must recognize that while we cannot place missionaries in many locations due to the host country’s persecution of Christians, the Lord continues to move in many venues and with the Internet being one of them.
The beauty of what Network211 does is that we can join individuals in their life journey by providing follow-up content online for discipleship, as well as actual Spirit-filled believers who serve as 1-2-1 Connectors to interact with individuals at all times. Now, we have added a digital assistant, AI Luke, with whom people can converse, be encouraged, and learn more about living for Christ.
The Top Twenty of “Nations Where Christians Face the Most Extreme Persecution” includes countries like Somalia, Yemen, Sudan, Eritrea, China, Afghanistan, and Iraq. We praise the Lord that He has allowed Network211 to move in these nations, which resulted in 875,197 Gospel Presentations, 164,212 Evangelism Responses, and 14,398 Discipleship Connections. This highlights the truth to me that no matter where you are, no matter who you are, no matter what you have done, no matter what you believe, Jesus Christ gave His life for your sins and is not willing that anyone will perish but that everyone will come to repentance. Glory to God!
It is because of your faithful and strategic partnership that we can share the Gospel even in locations that do their best to shut the door to evangelism and persecute believers.
Thank you for believing that everyone must come to Christ! Thank you for being obedient to God’s call to see everyone come to repentance. May God’s heart for the lost beat in our chests.
Blessings,
Mark
