The Gift of Life!

Dear Friends:

Merry Christmas! The older we get, the more the depth of the true meaning of Christmas fascinates our hearts and the less it becomes about the commercialization of Christmas. When we celebrate Christmas, we celebrate life! “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

Our Heavenly Father loved us so profoundly that He gave His very best, His one and only Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus came as “Immanuel, God with us,” and brought reconciliation, life, and transformation. We can now be the person that God created us to be. We have the gift of life!

Your amazing partnership with Network211 gives this same gift of life to millions of people each year. When we lead them to Jesus, they receive hope instead of depression, they experience healing instead of pain, they encounter help instead of isolation and loneliness, and they experience true peace instead of anxiety. They receive the gift of eternal life!

This testimony of the amazing gift of life touched my heart in a way that I have not experienced in all my years at Network211. Here is the story:

Gustavo and Esther, a couple from Bogota, Colombia, were dealing with life issues so severe that they felt they were at a crossroads. When they learned that she was pregnant, they were faced with the dilemma of whether they should have their baby or if they should abort the child. They determined that ending the pregnancy and aborting the baby would be their decision. But, such determinations come with a price.

Esther could not find peace. She battled such anxiety in her heart that she went online and searched for anyone who could support her decision and bring encouragement. By the grace of God, she found a Network211 site, wrote to us, and asked for clarity. Our 1-2-1 Connector responded with grace and love that comes from a thriving relationship with Jesus. The Connector prayed with them and compassionately encouraged them with Scriptures that life was precious and sacred and worth saving. After multiple heartfelt interactions, the confusion began to lift as the Holy Spirit breathed life into their hearts and minds! The right decision became clear to them as our Heavenly Father’s message of amazing love broke through their fog. They came to the realization that abortion was not an option and that they wanted their baby to live.

This Christmas, a couple in Bogota, Colombia is celebrating the season as they prepare their hearts and home and dream about life with their soon-to-be-born child. Will you praise God with me for this precious life that was saved?

As we celebrate the birth of our Savior, we praise God for His gift of life! Jesus changed everything for us! At the same time, we praise the Lord for allowing Network211 to share the Good News of Jesus Christ 24/7 and in every nation and territory that allows Internet access. Every day, we connect with people like Gustavo and Esther. They come with their worries, hurts, confusion, and hopelessness. We are there to give them the gift of life. We give them Jesus!

As you joyously celebrate with your loved ones this Christmas season, would you consider prayerfully giving a special end-of-year donation so that we can give millions more the gift of life? To the glory of God, this message will bring eternal hope to searching souls, restore families, and bring life to individuals, even precious little ones!

“And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.’ Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests’” (Luke 2:8-14).

Merry Christmas,
Mark
