As we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving, our hearts turn to the Lord and direct us to count our blessings! God’s grace covers completely the multitude of our sins. He cleanses us of our unrighteousness, clothes us with new robes of righteousness, and transforms us to the very core of our being.
Grace. God’s Grace. Grace that is greater than all our sins.
A woman from Dominican Republic googled her life issue and wrote this to us. “I am 27 years old and I am a prostitute and I don’t know how to get out of this life.” She was searching for solutions to a complicated life issue. We told her about Jesus.
We have a “landed network” in the Dominican Republic which means that we have a Network211 1-2-1 Connector team there to respond to people who write to us from this beautiful Caribbean nation. The 1-2-1 Connector replied with words full of mercy, understanding and grace. God’s grace.
The 1-2-1 Connector is a Spirit-filled believer who attends an Assemblies of God church. But, she had been sexually trafficked before being saved miraculously by the grace of God. She shared of God’s love to the woman who wrote to us and how to break free from a life of prostitution. Not only was she able to provide life-changing answers, but since they live in the same city in the Dominican Republic, they will be able to meet and share the hope of freedom of Christ in person!
A simple Google search led a woman trapped in the bondage of prostitution to the love of Jesus Christ, a connection with a believer, and to a church who will journey with her. We call this, “searches to churches.” That, my friends, is grace. God’s grace.
I am convinced that there will be people in heaven, like this woman in the Dominican Republic, because you took the time to pray, give, and to share the love and grace of Jesus Christ through Network211. They will be celebrating Him for eternity.
May the Lord bless you this Thanksgiving. We have so much for which to be thankful.
