The Key Response to Crisis

Dear Friends:

It’s been said that the number one rule for real estate is “location, location, location.” More importantly, when we face a personal crisis or when our world is at war, the key response for us as Christ’s followers is “pray, pray, pray.”

As you know well, on October 7th, our world changed once again as terrorists savagely attacked Jewish people in southern Israel. The response may not be limited to that region but has the potential to involve many nations on a global scale. The tragedy is heartbreaking, to say the least. So much more commentary could be written. But, the point today is that our response as believers is that we must pray! We must pray that our Father’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We must pray that God will protect the innocent ones on both sides of the war. We must pray that God, who sets up kings and kingdoms and takes them down, will move in His sovereign timing and bring justice and peace. We must pray that what man meant for evil, God will use for good and that is the saving of many lives (see Genesis 50:20).

Meanwhile, we must take seriously our task to go into all the world and make disciples (Matthew 28:18-20). We believe sincerely that the fields of the Internet are white unto harvest. We are using the Internet as a means to plant the seeds of the Gospel into the hearts and lives of individuals around the world. The answer to wars and rumors of wars is for people to repent and give their lives to Jesus. Jesus alone brings peace and joy. It is towards this end that it is vital for us to share the Good News with “everyone, everywhere.”

It is with your partnership that we are planting the seeds of the Gospel in 242 countries and territories. In the nations in the Middle East, we received salvation responses in countries such as Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Yemen.

As the Gaza Strip is in the news, I checked our Google Analytics to see what Network211 shared there. Google labels Gaza and the West Bank as “Palestine.” Since we launched our evangelism online interactive communities in October of 2008, we presented the Gospel to 18,753 individuals in “Palestine.” Of that number, 228 made an evangelism response. We thank the Lord. I found it interesting that 14,349 of our visitors viewed our site “Who Jesus Is” in either English or Hebrew (www.WhoJesusIs.com and https://mihuyeshua.com). So, 76.5% of our visitors from Gaza and the West Bank were searching for answers about Jesus!

Thank you for your partnership that allows us to be online and share the love of Jesus Christ! You are planting the seeds of the Gospel in the hearts of people who are located in areas of the world that are closed to the Gospel and who will even persecute you based on your faith. Thank you for giving! Thank you for praying!

So, on behalf of the untold millions, if not billions, of people who have yet to hear the Good News, may I request that you keep giving financially, praying biblically, and investing your life to sharing the Gospel personally wherever God places you.

May we respond to our world events as it is stated in I Thessalonians 5:16-18, “rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

May God find us faithful!

Blessings,
Mark
