Go into all the world

Dear Friends:

Acts 1:8, “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you shall be my witnesses to Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

You have heard, this verse many times in your life. But, a quick review offers us at least two reminders. First, we minister by the power of the Holy Spirit. Network211 seeks daily to be led and empowered by the Holy Spirit as we present the Truth of Jesus Christ, the Spirit convicts and convinces, and empowers our 1-2-1 Connectors teams to respond in a manner that glorifies God.

Second, God has given us access to minister, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to the “ends of the earth.” The world is our target audience! We must remember the “and” in this verse because the Gospel is for everyone, everywhere. ALL locations on the earth must be penetrated with the Good News. There has been no greater time in the history if the for us to have access to ALL the world than today!

Yes, there are nations that do not welcome missionaries or the open proclamation of the Gospel. Yes, there are remote locations in the world than make it very difficult, if not perilous, to visit, much less live there. However, the Internet is making a drastic and dramatic change to this.

The Internet has created a mindset that I call “Global Individuality.” This mindset empowers individuals in the global marketplace to reach out from the realities of their actual existence to interact with others in a global marketplace. So, individuals from nations and religions that are openly and diametrically opposed to Christianity are empowered to enter the global marketplace of the Internet and inquire about their heart felt needs. They are empowered even to use the anonymity and security of the Internet and ask, “Who is Jesus?”

The “ends of the earth” is now at our fingertips as people in the most desolate locations on the globe have Internet access. I was informed recently that high in the mountains of Nepal, in the most remote locations, the villagers do not have electricity. Yet, each one has a cell phone and Internet access! What they have is solar power and that is specifically for the purpose of powering their cell phones. Actual interaction with them would be difficult, to say the least. But, in the mission field of the Internet, “Internet Users” are forming their own people group and are active in the global marketplace.

What an amazing opportunity to proclaim the Good News “to the ends of the earth!”

For every $1 you give to Network211 in evangelism, we can present the Gospel by the power of the Holy Spirit to 15 individuals. It is with your prayer and financial support that the aspect of the Network211 vision statement, “to proclaim Christ to all people,” is becoming more and more of our reality.

Thank you for giving! Thank you for praying!

Blessings,
